1 Maccabees 10:9

Whereupon they of the tower delivered their hostages unto Jonathan, and he delivered them unto their parents.

Whereupon they of the tower delivered their hostages to Jonathan, and he delivered them to their parents.

Those in the citadel released the hostages to Jonathan, and he restored them to their parents.
