Beyond the Canon
These books were never canonized in the Western church. They are ancient writings the apostles read, early Christians argued about, and the Ethiopian Orthodox preserve as scripture to this day. Jude 1:14 quotes 1 Enoch inside your New Testament. We publish them so you can read them for yourself and judge their content against scripture.
A note on framing
Sovereign Logos publishes the Septuagint (our restored OT canon at /restored-books) as the unadulterated Old Testament Scripture — because it is the text Jesus, the apostles, and the historic Church read. This section is different. The books here were never canonized in the Western church. We publish them not as Scripture but as the primary sources the New Testament writers cited. Read them, then judge the citations in the New Testament for yourself.
