Wisdom of Solomon 11:10

For these you did admonish and try, as a father: but the other, as a severe king, you did condemn and punish.

For these thou didst admonish and try, as a father: but the other, as a severe king, thou didst condemn and punish.

For you tested these as a father admonishing them; but you searched out those as a stern king condemning them.
