2Hearken to my words, O Lord, attend to my cry.
2Give ear to my words, O Lord, consider my meditation.
3Attend to the voice of my supplication, my King, and my God: for to thee, O Lord, will I pray.
3Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto thee will I pray.
4In the morning thou shalt hear my voice: in the morningwill I wait upon thee, and will look up.
4My voice shalt thou hear in the morning, O Lord; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto thee, and will look up.
5For thou art not a God that desires iniquity; neither shall the worker of wickedness dwell with thee.
5For thou art not a God that hath pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with thee.
6Neither shall the transgressors continue in thy sight: thou hatest, O Lord, all them that work iniquity.
6The foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
7Thou wilt destroy all that speak falsehood: the Lord abhors the bloody and deceitful man.
7Thou shalt destroy them that speak leasing: the Lord will abhor the bloody and deceitful man.
8But I will enter into thine house in the multitude of thy mercy: I will worship in thy fear toward thy holy temple.
8But as for me, I will come into thy house in the multitude of thy mercy: and in thy fear will I worship toward thy holy temple.
9Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make my way plain before thy face.
9Lead me, O Lord, in thy righteousness because of mine enemies; make thy way straight before my face.
10For there is no truth in their mouth; their heart is vain; their throat is an open sepulchre; with their tongues they have used deceit.
10For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open sepulchre; they flatter with their tongue.
11Judge them, O God; let them fail of their counsels: cast them out according to the abundance of their ungodliness; for they have provoked thee, O Lord.
11Destroy thou them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against thee.
12But let all that trust on thee be glad in thee : they shall exult for ever , and thou shalt dwell among them; and all that love thy name shall rejoice in thee.
12But let all those that put their trust in thee rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest them: let them also that love thy name be joyful in thee.
13For thou, Lord, shalt bless the righteous: thou hast compassed us as with a shield of favour.
13For thou, Lord, wilt bless the righteous; with favour wilt thou compass him as with a shield.
