2Praise becomes thee, O God, in Sion; and to thee shall the vow be performed.
2Praise waiteth for thee, O God, in Sion: and unto thee shall the vow be performed.
3Hear my prayer; to thee all flesh shall come.
3O thou that hearest prayer, unto thee shall all flesh come.
4The words of transgressors have overpowered us; but do thou pardon our sins.
4Iniquities prevail against me: as for our transgressions, thou shalt purge them away.
5Blessed [is he] whom thou hast chosen and adopted; he shall dwell in thy courts; we shall be filled with the good things of thy house; thy temple is holy .
5Blessed is the man whom thou choosest, and causest to approach unto thee, that he may dwell in thy courts: we shall be satisfied with the goodness of thy house, even of thy holy temple.
6[Thou art] wonderful in righteousness. Hearken to us, O God our Saviour; the hope of all the ends of the earth, and of them [that are] on the sea afar off :
6By terrible things in righteousness wilt thou answer us, O God of our salvation; who art the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are afar off upon the sea:
7who dost establish the mountains in thy strength, being girded about with power;
7Which by his strength setteth fast the mountains; being girded with power:
8who troublest the depth of the sea, the sounds of its waves.
8Which stilleth the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.
9The nations shall be troubled, and they that inhabit the ends [of the earth] shall be afraid of thy signs; thou wilt cause the outgoings of morning and evening to rejoice.
9They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at thy tokens: thou makest the outgoings of the morning and evening to rejoice.
10Thou hast visited the earth, and saturated it; thou hast abundantly enriched it. The river of Godis filled with water; thou hast prepared their food, for thus is the preparation [of it].
10Thou visitest the earth, and waterest it: thou greatly enrichest it with the river of God, which is full of water: thou preparest them corn, when thou hast so provided for it.
11Saturate her furrows, multiply her fruits; [the crop] springing up shall rejoice in its drops.
11Thou waterest the ridges thereof abundantly: thou settlest the furrows thereof: thou makest it soft with showers: thou blessest the springing thereof.
12Thou wilt bless the crown of the year [because] of thy goodness; and thy plains shall be filled with fatness.
12Thou crownest the year with thy goodness; and thy paths drop fatness.
13The mountains of the wilderness shall be enriched; and the hills shall gird themselves with joy.
13They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.
14The rams of the flock are clothed [with wool], and the valleys shall abound in corn; they shall cry aloud, yea they shall sing hymns.
14The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.
