10And the sons of Shimei were, Jahath, Zina, and Jeush, and Beriah. These four were the sons of Shimei.
11And Jeth was the chief, and Ziza the second: and Joas and Beria did not multiply sons, and they became [only] one reckoningaccording to the house of their father.
11And Jahath was the chief, and Zizah the second: but Jeush and Beriah had not many sons; therefore they were in one reckoning, according to their father’s house.

25For David said, The Lord God of Israel has given rest to his people, and has taken up his abode in Jerusalem for ever.
25For David said, The Lord God of Israel hath given rest unto his people, that they may dwell in Jerusalem for ever:
26And the Levites bore not the tabernacle, and all the vessels of it for its service .
26And also unto the Levites; they shall no more carry the tabernacle, nor any vessels of it for the service thereof.
27For by the last words of David was the number of the Levites [taken] from twenty years old and upward.
27For by the last words of David the Levites were numbered from twenty years old and above:
28For he appointed them to wait on Aaron, to minister in the house of the Lord, over the courts, and over the chambers, and over the purification of all the holy things, and over the works of the service of the house of God;
28Because their office was to wait on the sons of Aaron for the service of the house of the Lord, in the courts, and in the chambers, and in the purifying of all holy things, and the work of the service of the house of God;
29and for the shew-bread, and for the fine flour of the meat -offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for the fried cake, and for the dough, and for every measure ;
29Both for the shewbread, and for the fine flour for meat offering, and for the unleavened cakes, and for that which is baked in the pan, and for that which is fried, and for all manner of measure and size;
30and to stand in the morning to praise and give thanks to the Lord, and so in the evening;
30And to stand every morning to thank and praise the Lord, and likewise at even;
31and [to be] over all the whole-burnt-offerings that were offered up to the Lord on the sabbaths, and at the new moons, and at the feasts, by number, according to the order [given] to them, continually before the Lord.
31And to offer all burnt sacrifices unto the Lord in the sabbaths, in the new moons, and on the set feasts, by number, according to the order commanded unto them, continually before the Lord:
32And they are to keep the charge of the tabernacle of witness, and the charge of the holy place, and the charges of the sons of Aaron their brethren, to minister in the house of the Lord.
32And that they should keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the holy place, and the charge of the sons of Aaron their brethren, in the service of the house of the Lord.
1And [they number] the sons of Aaron in [their] division, Nadab, and Abiud, and Eleazar, and Ithamar.
1Now these are the divisions of the sons of Aaron. The sons of Aaron; Nadab, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2And Nadab and Abiud died before their father, and they had no sons: so Eleazar and Ithamar the sons of Aaron ministered as priests.
2But Nadab and Abihu died before their father, and had no children: therefore Eleazar and Ithamar executed the priest’s office.
3And David distributed them, even Sadoc of the sons of Eleazar, and Achimelech of the sons of Ithamar, according to their numbering, according to their service, according to the houses of their fathers.

4And there were found [among] the sons of Eleazar more chiefs of the mighty ones, than of the sons of Ithamar: and he divided them, sixteen heads of families to the sons of Eleazar , eight according to [their] families to the sons of Ithamar .
4And there were more chief men found of the sons of Eleazar than of the sons of Ithamar; and thus were they divided. Among the sons of Eleazar there were sixteen chief men of the house of their fathers, and eight among the sons of Ithamar according to the house of their fathers.
5And he divided them according to their lots, one with the other; for there were those who had charge of the holy things, and those who had charge of the [house] of the Lord among the sons of Eleazar, and among the sons of Ithamar.
5Thus were they divided by lot, one sort with another; for the governors of the sanctuary, and governors of the house of God, were of the sons of Eleazar, and of the sons of Ithamar.
6And Samaias the son of Nathanael, the scribe, [of the family] of Levi, wrote them down before the king, and the princes, and Sadoc the priest, and Achimelech the son of Abiathar [were present]; and the heads of the families of the priests and the Levites, each of a household [were assigned] one to Eleazar, and one to Ithamar.
