1And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

2Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say unto them, The feasts of the Lord which ye shall call holy assemblies, these are my feasts.
2“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘The set feasts of Yahweh, which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, even these are my set feasts.
3Six days shalt thou do works, but on the seventh day is the sabbath; a rest, a holy convocation to the Lord: thou shalt not do any work, it is a sabbath to the Lord in all your dwellings.
3“‘Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day is a Sabbath of solemn rest, a holy convocation; you shall do no kind of work. It is a Sabbath to Yahweh in all your dwellings.
4These [are] the feasts to the Lord, holy convocations, which ye shall call in their seasons.
4“‘These are the set feasts of Yahweh, even holy convocations, which you shall proclaim in their appointed season.
5In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, between the evening times is the Lord's passover.

9And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,
9Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
10Speak to the children of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, When ye shall enter into the land which I give you, and reap the harvest of it, then shall ye bring a sheaf, the first -fruits of your harvest, to the priest;
10“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you have come into the land which I give to you, and shall reap its harvest, then you shall bring the sheaf of the first fruits of your harvest to the priest.
11and he shall lift up the sheaf before the Lord, to be accepted for you. On the morrow of the first day the priest shall lift it up.
11He shall wave the sheaf before Yahweh, to be accepted for you. On the next day after the Sabbath the priest shall wave it.
12And ye shall offer on the day on which ye bring the sheaf, a lamb without blemish of a year old for a whole-burnt -offering to the Lord.
12On the day when you wave the sheaf, you shall offer a male lamb without defect a year old for a burnt offering to Yahweh.
13And its meat-offering two tenth portions of fine flour mingled with oil: it is a sacrifice to the Lord, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord, and its drink -offering the fourth part of a hin of wine.
13The meal offering with it shall be two tenths of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil, an offering made by fire to Yahweh for a pleasant aroma; and the drink offering with it shall be of wine, the fourth part of a hin.
14And ye shall not eat bread, or the new parched corn, until this same day, until ye offer the sacrifices to your God: [it is] a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
14You must not eat bread, or roasted grain, or fresh grain, until this same day, until you have brought the offering of your God. This is a statute forever throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
15And ye shall number to yourselves from the day after the sabbath, from the day on which ye shall offer the sheaf of the heave-offering, seven full weeks:
15“‘You shall count from the next day after the Sabbath, from the day that you brought the sheaf of the wave offering: seven Sabbaths shall be completed.
16until the morrow after the last week ye shall number fifty days, and shall bring a new meat-offering to the Lord.
16The next day after the seventh Sabbath you shall count fifty days; and you shall offer a new meal offering to Yahweh.
17Ye shall bring from your dwelling loaves, as a heave-offering, two loaves: they shall be of two tenth portions of fine flour, they shall be baked with leaven of the first -fruits to the Lord.
17You shall bring out of your habitations two loaves of bread for a wave offering made of two tenths of an ephah of fine flour. They shall be baked with yeast, for first fruits to Yahweh.
18And ye shall bring with the loaves seven unblemished lambs of a year old, and one calf of the herd, and two rams without blemish, and they shall be a whole-burnt -offering to the Lord: and their meat-offerings and their drink -offerings [shall be] a sacrifice, a smell of sweet savour to the Lord.
18You shall present with the bread seven lambs without defect a year old, one young bull, and two rams. They shall be a burnt offering to Yahweh, with their meal offering and their drink offerings, even an offering made by fire, of a sweet aroma to Yahweh.
19And they shall sacrifice one kid of the goats for a sin -offering, and two lambs of a year old for a peace-offering, with the loaves of the first-fruits.
19You shall offer one male goat for a sin offering, and two male lambs a year old for a sacrifice of peace offerings.
20And the priest shall place them with the loaves of the first -fruits an offering before the Lord with the two lambs, they shall be holy to the Lord; they shall belong to the priest that brings them.
20The priest shall wave them with the bread of the first fruits for a wave offering before Yahweh, with the two lambs. They shall be holy to Yahweh for the priest.
21And ye shall call this day a convocation: it shall be holy to you; ye shall do no servile work on it: it is a perpetual ordinance throughout your generations in all your habitations.
21You shall make proclamation on the same day that there shall be a holy convocation to you. You shall do no regular work. This is a statute forever in all your dwellings throughout your generations.
22And when ye shall reap the harvest of your land, ye shall not fully reap the remainder of the harvest of your field when thou reapest, and thou shalt not gather that which falls from thy reaping; thou shalt leave it for the poor and the stranger: I [am] the Lord your God.
22“‘When you reap the harvest of your land, you must not wholly reap into the corners of your field. You must not gather the gleanings of your harvest. You must leave them for the poor and for the foreigner. I am Yahweh your God.’”
23And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

24Speak to the children of Israel, saying, In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, ye shall have a rest , a memorial of trumpets: it shall be to you a holy convocation.
24“Speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, there shall be a solemn rest for you, a memorial of blowing of trumpets, a holy convocation.
25Ye shall do no servile work, and ye shall offer a whole-burnt-offering to the Lord.
25You shall do no regular work. You shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh.’”
26And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

27Also on the tenth day of this seventh month is a day of atonement: it shall be a holy convocation to you; and ye shall humble your souls, and offer a whole-burnt-offering to the Lord.
27“However on the tenth day of this seventh month is the day of atonement. It shall be a holy convocation to you. You shall afflict yourselves and you shall offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh.
28Ye shall do no work on this self-same day: for this is a day of atonement for you, to make atonement for you before the Lord your God.
28You shall do no kind of work in that same day, for it is a day of atonement, to make atonement for you before Yahweh your God.
29Every soul that shall not be humbled in that day, shall be cut off from among its people.
29For whoever it is who shall not deny himself in that same day shall be cut off from his people.
30And every soul which shall do work on that day, that soul shall be destroyed from among its people.
30Whoever does any kind of work in that same day, I will destroy that person from among his people.
31Ye shall do no manner of work: it is a perpetual statute throughout your generations in all your habitations.

33And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

34Speak to the children of Israel, saying, On the fifteenth day of this seventh month, there shall be a feast of tabernacles seven days to the Lord.
34“Speak to the children of Israel, and say, ‘On the fifteenth day of this seventh month is the feast of booths for seven days to Yahweh.
35And on the first day shall be a holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work.

36Seven days shall ye offer whole-burnt-offerings to the Lord, and the eighth -day shall be a holy convocation to you; and ye shall offer whole-burnt-offerings to the Lord: it is a time of release, ye shall do no servile work.

37These [are] the feasts to the Lord, which ye shall call holy convocations, to offer burnt-offerings to the Lord, whole-burnt-offerings and their meat-offerings, and their drink -offerings, that for each day on its day:
37“‘These are the appointed feasts of Yahweh which you shall proclaim to be holy convocations, to offer an offering made by fire to Yahweh, a burnt offering, a meal offering, a sacrifice, and drink offerings, each on its own day—
38besides the sabbaths of the Lord, and besides your gifts, and besides all your vows, and besides your free -will -offerings, which ye shall give to the Lord.
38in addition to the Sabbaths of Yahweh, and in addition to your gifts, and in addition to all your vows, and in addition to all your free will offerings, which you give to Yahweh.
39And on the fifteenth day of this seventh month, when ye shall have completely gathered in the fruits of the earth, ye shall keep a feast to the Lord seven days; on the first day there shall be a rest, and on the eighth day a rest.
39“‘So on the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when you have gathered in the fruits of the land, you shall keep the feast of Yahweh seven days. On the first day shall be a solemn rest, and on the eighth day shall be a solemn rest.
40And on the first day ye shall take goodly fruit of trees, and branches of palm trees, and thick boughs of trees, and willows, and branches of osiers from the brook, to rejoice before the Lord your God seven days in the year.
40You shall take on the first day the fruit of majestic trees, branches of palm trees, and boughs of thick trees, and willows of the brook; and you shall rejoice before Yahweh your God seven days.
41[It is] a perpetual statute for your generations: in the seventh month ye shall keep it.
41You shall keep it as a feast to Yahweh seven days in the year. It is a statute forever throughout your generations. You shall keep it in the seventh month.
42Seven days ye shall dwell in tabernacles: every nativein Israel shall dwell in tents,
42You shall dwell in temporary shelters for seven days. All who are native-born in Israel shall dwell in temporary shelters,
43that your posterity may see, that I made the children of Israel to dwell in tents, when I brought them out of the land of Egypt: I [am] the Lord your God.
43that your generations may know that I made the children of Israel to dwell in temporary shelters when I brought them out of the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.’”
44And Moses recounted the feasts of the Lord to the children of Israel .
44So Moses declared to the children of Israel the appointed feasts of Yahweh.

2Charge the children of Israel, and let them take for thee pure olive oil beaten for the light, to burn a lamp continually,
2“Command the children of Israel, that they bring to you pure olive oil beaten for the light, to cause a lamp to burn continually.
3outside the veil in the tabernacle of witness; and Aaron and his sons shall burn it from evening until morning before the Lord continually, a perpetual statute throughout your generations.
3Outside of the veil of the Testimony, in the Tent of Meeting, Aaron shall keep it in order from evening to morning before Yahweh continually. It shall be a statute forever throughout your generations.
4Ye shall burn the lamps on the pure lamp -stand before the Lord till the morrow.
4He shall keep in order the lamps on the pure gold lamp stand before Yahweh continually.
5And ye shall take fine flour, and make of it twelve loaves; each loaf shall be of two tenth parts.
5“You shall take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes of it: two tenths of an ephah shall be in one cake.
6And ye shall put them [in] two rows, each row [containing] six loaves, on the pure table before the Lord.
6You shall set them in two rows, six on a row, on the pure gold table before Yahweh.
7And ye shall put on [each] row pure frankincense and salt; and [these things] shall be for loaves for a memorial, set forth before the Lord.
7You shall put pure frankincense on each row, that it may be to the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire to Yahweh.
8On the sabbath-day they shall be set forth before the Lord continually before the children of Israel, for an everlasting covenant.
8Every Sabbath day he shall set it in order before Yahweh continually. It is an everlasting covenant on the behalf of the children of Israel.
9And they shall be for Aaron and his sons, and they shall eat them in the holy place: for this is their most holy portion of the offerings made to the Lord, a perpetual statute.
9It shall be for Aaron and his sons. They shall eat it in a holy place; for it is most holy to him of the offerings of Yahweh made by fire by a perpetual statute.”
10And there went forth a son of an Israelitish woman, and he was son of an Egyptian man among the sons of Israel; and they fought in the camp, the son of the Israelitish woman, and a man who was an Israelite.
10The son of an Israelite woman, whose father was an Egyptian, went out among the children of Israel; and the son of the Israelite woman and a man of Israel strove together in the camp.
11And the son of the Israelitish woman named THE NAME and cursed; and they brought him to Moses: and his mother's name was Salomith, daughter of Dabri of the tribe of Dan.
11The son of the Israelite woman blasphemed the Name, and cursed; and they brought him to Moses. His mother’s name was Shelomith, the daughter of Dibri, of the tribe of Dan.
12And they put him in ward, to judge him by the command of the Lord.
12They put him in custody until Yahweh’s will should be declared to them.
13And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying,

14Bring forth him that cursed outside the camp, and all who heard shall lay their hands upon his head, and all the congregation shall stone him.
14“Bring him who cursed out of the camp; and let all who heard him lay their hands on his head, and let all the congregation stone him.
15And speak to the sons of Israel, and thou shalt say to them, Whosoever shall curse God shall bear his sin.
15You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, ‘Whoever curses his God shall bear his sin.
16And he that names the name of the Lord, let him die the death: let all the congregation of Israel stone him with stones; whether he be a stranger or a native, let him die for naming the name of the Lord.
16He who blasphemes Yahweh’s name, he shall surely be put to death. All the congregation shall certainly stone him. The foreigner as well as the native-born shall be put to death when he blasphemes the Name.
17And whosoever shall smite a man and he die, let him die the death.
17“‘He who strikes any man mortally shall surely be put to death.
18And whosoever shall smite a beast, and it shall die, let him render life for life.
18He who strikes an animal mortally shall make it good, life for life.
19And whosoever shall inflict a blemish on his neighbour, as he has done to him, so shall it be done to himself in return;
19If anyone injures his neighbor, it shall be done to him as he has done:
20bruise for bruise, eye for eye, tooth for tooth: as any one may inflict a blemish on a man, so shall it be rendered to him .
20fracture for fracture, eye for eye, tooth for tooth. It shall be done to him as he has injured someone.
21Whosoever shall smite a man, and he shall die, let him die the death.
21He who kills an animal shall make it good; and he who kills a man shall be put to death.
22There shall be one judgment for the stranger and the native, for I [am] the Lord your God.
22You shall have one kind of law for the foreigner as well as the native-born; for I am Yahweh your God.’”
23And Moses spoke to the children of Israel, and they brought him that had cursed out of the camp, and stoned him with stones: and the children of Israel did as the Lord commanded Moses.
